Every year we organise a full programme of outings to interesting sites in Wiltshire or neighbouring counties, where the leader and members share their knowledge of plants and their habitats. Please car share if possible to all of our meetings.

Southleigh Woods, near Warminster

Once part of the ancient Selwood Forest, this woodland has for several hundred years been part of the Longleat Estate. Mixed
deciduous woodland and coniferous plantation, it has been clear-felled in parts, allowing ground flora to return. This includes typical woodland species and a diverse heathy vegetation.
Directions: Turn east off the A350 just south of the roundabout/ junction with the A36 onto Five Ash Lane and park at ST87864297 / W3W campers.portable.overt
